We are PROUD of our members all year long, however during National EMS week we are just a little bit MORE PROUD. Our members respond to your emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They spend many holidays, birthdays and special life occasions with YOU and not their own families!
Once a year EMS agencies nationwide recognize and celebrate the members of this talented and truly ESSENTIAL SERVICE called EMS!! This year’s theme is, “EMS WEEK 2025, May 18-24 WE CARE. FOR EVERYONE.”
This year the following members of our agency (some who are also affiliated with other agencies) were recognized in various categories. Additionally the submission for recognition of the Communications Specialist (Dispatcher) of the year was submitted by Haverstraw Ambulance.

Recognized as the Basic Life Support (BLS) member of the year was: Angel Hernandez- Haverstraw Ambulance
Recognized as the Youth Squad member of the year was: Samantha Bender – Haverstraw Ambulance
Recognized as the Communications Specialist of the year was: Joseph DeLucia – Rockland County Sheriff’s Office 9-1-1 Communications Division
