Seth Armstrong, Samantha Bender and Graciella Lawson spent their evening Tuesday in a very different role then they are use to. All 3 of them took a step away from EMS to attend a VERY IMPORTANT MILESTONE in their lives–HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION!!
Seth graduated from James O’Neil High School in Fort Montgonery, while Samantha and Graciella graduated from North Rockland High School. All 3 of our graduates began EMS at Haverstraw as members of our youth squad. They each ride steady shifts and spend countless hours as pre-hospital care givers. All 3 have recently moved into the Senior Corps. and within the past year each of them along with their school studies and ambulance hours, became NYS Certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and are cleared to provide care as crew chiefs.
We at Haverstraw Ambulance are very proud of these 3 young adults, wish them success in their future and THANK THEM for being part of the HAVERSTRAW AMBULANCE CORPS. TEAM!!
