NO STRANGER TO NORTH ROCKLAND, Lt. Gluck began her EMS career in 1980 and earned her NYS Emergency Medical Technician certification in 1981. As she navigated her way through the EMS field, she realized her passion for helping the sick and injured and earned her Paramedic License in 1997.
Laura has proudly served: Hudson Valley Ambulance, CMT Ambulance, Rockland Mobile Care, Haverstraw Ambulance Corps, Stony Point Ambulance Corps and Rockland Paramedic Services. In 2002 Laura was appointed as the 1st and only Lt. at Medic-1.

Laura has been witness to many significant jobs in her 45 years of service, far too many to mention however each treated with respect and dignity to the patient. Laura navigated through the COVID pandemic working a minimum of a 46-hour work week which if you worked EMS during that time, you know that each 12-hour day felt like an eternity.
EMS is a better and safer place because of Lt. Gluck and NORTH ROCKLAND will always be grateful for her service, her support to the local ambulance corps. BLS crews and most of all, her friendship!!
